  • The goal of the Pharmacy Informatics Laboratory is to research, develop and evaluate automated and semi-automated approaches to capturing and processing of information related to medications and therapy.

    Our lab consists of faculty and students from a broad range of disciplines and backgrounds including linguistics, computer science, cognitive science, neuroscience, pharmacy, pharmacology, medicine and health informatics.

    Our technology includes tools and systems for natural language and speech processing, automatic speech recognition, text and structured data mining, and information extraction and retrieval.
